Terms and Conditions
These terms cover your use of superlativeservice.com and, together with a quote you approve, the irrigation, drainage, and landscaping work you hire Superlative Service Inc to do. We are a family-owned company. We have operated since 1992 and serve residential and commercial properties in the Houston and San Antonio, Texas areas.
Effective date: October 30, 2026. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Hiring us is covered by the quote you approve and by these terms. If the approved quote and these terms disagree about the price or the scope of that job, the quote controls. These terms control for everything else.
Using the website
The site describes our services and lets you request a free estimate. Blog posts and other pages are general information. They are not a promise that a particular repair will fix your property until we have looked at it. Do not misuse the site, try to break it, scrape it, or copy it in bulk. The text, photos, and layout of the site belong to Superlative Service Inc, except where a photo or product name belongs to someone else. Irrigreen and other product names belong to their owners.
Estimates and quotes
You can request a free estimate on the contact page or by phone. The form on that page is Jobber’s work-request form. Sending the form is a request. It is not a contract, and it is not a scheduled visit.
We send quotes through Jobber. You approve a quote in Jobber or in writing. A quote covers the work it describes. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date we send it, unless the quote states a different date. After it expires, we may update the price before work starts.
Changes to the work
If you add work, or the property differs from what the quote assumed, the price and the schedule may change. A change must be approved in writing or in Jobber before we do the extra work. Written approval includes an email, a text we both keep, or an approval recorded in Jobber. Do not treat a conversation in the yard as an approval until it is written down or entered in Jobber.
Scheduling
This website does not include a self-serve booking calendar. After we accept a request, we schedule the visit with you. The date, visit reminders, and later changes are handled through Jobber, including the Jobber client hub. Reminders may arrive by email or text. The privacy policy explains how to opt out of texts.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the visit. Call 281-537-5579 or message us in Jobber. A trip charge may apply if we arrive and cannot do the work because of a missed appointment or a lockout. A lockout includes a locked gate, no one available to meet us when access requires it, or no access to the work area.
Payment
We invoice through Jobber. You can review and pay an invoice in the Jobber client hub. Card and ACH payments there are processed by Jobber Payments and its payment processor. We do not take or store your full card number or bank account number on this website.
Payment is due on completion unless the invoice states otherwise. A deposit may be required before a larger installation project starts. If a deposit applies, the quote states the amount and when it is due.
A past-due balance may accrue interest at the maximum rate allowed by Texas law, or 1.5% per month, whichever is less. We accept card and ACH through Jobber, check, and cash.
Warranties
We warrant our workmanship on installations and repairs for 1 year from the date we complete that work. During that year we will repair, at no labor charge, a defect in our workmanship that you report to us.
This workmanship warranty does not cover:
- Misuse of the system or the landscape.
- Freeze damage.
- Acts of God, including storm, flood, and lightning damage.
- Damage caused by someone other than our crew.
- Damage from lawn equipment, including mowers and trimmers.
- Utility issues, including water pressure, water quality, and power supply.
- Alterations made without a required permit, or alterations made by someone else after we finish.
The warranty also does not cover ordinary wear, or plants that fail for a reason other than how we installed them.
Parts and equipment may carry a separate warranty from the manufacturer. We pass those manufacturer warranties through to you. We do not lengthen them. A manufacturer claim follows the manufacturer’s terms.
To use the workmanship warranty, contact us promptly and give us a reasonable chance to inspect and repair the work.
Property access and site conditions
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area at the scheduled time, including gates, water shutoffs, and the controller. Please secure pets. Tell us about known hazards before we start.
You must identify private lines and other private underground items you know about. That includes irrigation pipes, low-voltage wiring, invisible pet fences, septic lines, and private utilities. We call 811 to request locates of public utilities before we dig. An 811 locate does not mark private lines. We are not responsible for damage to a private line that was not identified, except where Texas law does not allow that limit.
Water-restriction compliance is your responsibility. Watering days, hours, and drought rules that apply to the property are yours to follow. We will set a schedule you ask for, and we can suggest one. We do not monitor city or utility rules for you after the visit.
If the site is unsafe, or we cannot reach the work, we may stop and reschedule. A trip charge may apply, as described under cancellations.
Limitation of liability
To the extent Texas law allows, our total liability for a service is capped at the amount you paid us for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost use of a property or extra water bills.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for harm that Texas law does not allow us to limit.
Indemnification
To the extent Texas law allows, you will cover Superlative Service Inc for claims, damages, and reasonable costs that arise from your breach of these terms, from information you gave us that was inaccurate, from a private line or hazard you did not identify, or from a person you allowed onto the property during the work. This does not shift a loss to you for our own negligence where Texas law does not allow that.
The site is provided as is
The site is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will always be up, error-free, or free of harmful code. Service descriptions on the site are invitations to ask for an estimate. They are not a warranty of a particular result.
Dispute resolution
Before either of us files a lawsuit, we will try to resolve the dispute by informal negotiation. Send a short written description of the dispute to the contact at the end of these terms, and we will do the same if we have a dispute with you. We then have 30 days to negotiate in good faith. If the dispute is still open, either of us may file in the venue below. You do not have to wait where waiting would cause a legal deadline to pass.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue is the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas. You and we consent to that venue and to personal jurisdiction there.
Severability
If a court holds that part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. A court should limit that part only as far as needed to make it valid, if the law allows.
Entire agreement
These terms and the quote you approve are the entire agreement between you and Superlative Service Inc for use of the site and for that job. They replace earlier talks about the same subject. A conversation, advertisement, or page on the site does not change them unless the change is in the approved quote or in a posted update to these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date. The version posted when you use the site applies to that use. A job already covered by an approved quote keeps that quote’s price and scope. The warranty and payment terms on this page apply to that job unless the quote states a different warranty or payment term.
